Following a massive amount of interest from all of you we are now delighted to be running a fantastic sugar craft club specifically with young adults in mind. Over 5 weeks you will create a whole selection of different cakes using a variety of icings and will be able to "wow" your friends and families with your creations. Each block of 5 weeks covers different cake designs and different skills so if you have attended one, you can keep coming to learn even more!
The club will start on Monday 3rd November and is designed for ages 11-16 years. (This is a recommendation only).
The classes will start at 5pm and finish at 6pm. We will provide everything, including a cake box that you will need to bring back with you each week to take your scrummy cakes home in. Depending on how messy you are likely to get, you may want to bring an apron!
Throughout the course we will explore the use of sugar paste, flower paste and modelling paste and will also make a number of cakes using piped designs in both butter cream and vanilla frosting. We will use a variety of professional equipment and a selection of different piping nozzles to give a broad knowledge of cake decorating skills and techniques.
All designs will be made on cupcakes however the skills learned are easily transferable to larger cakes.
Course dates are Mondays 3/11, 10/11, 17/11, 24/11, 1/12
Course cost is £49 for 5 week course and includes all cakes, icings frostings and equipment.
