We will bake a mini dome cake for you which you will fill with jam & buttercream and then decorate as an adorable ladybird. Everything is explained step by step and you will be amazed at how many skills are covered.

- How to make the perfect domed shell with sugarpaste (fondant)
- How to create perfect wings and spots
- How to glaze the shell
- How to model the head
- How to add the super cute eyes with highlights - these transform your ladybird and add to the overall cuteness
- How to use modelling tools
- How to ice a cake board
- How to make simple leaves including adding veining, dusting and glazing
- How to use a sugar gun to make the antennae (tutorial)
- Storage and transportation of your cake.

Annabelle

Annabelle established Confection Perfection (now re-branded as Annabelle Jane Cake School) in 1996 from her kitchen table; bought her first retail premises in 2000 and is now settled in a delightful setting in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone. Annabelle has extensive cake decorating experience and is highly creative and artistic. Annabelle is an accredited tutor for the PME Diplomas in Sugar craft and also designs and delivers a wide range of other highly successful cake baking and decorating classes. Annabelle has a huge vision for our Cake School and ensures that the strong reputation we have earned continues to grow lead by her consistently high standards.
Everything is Included including the cake, all icings and a box. Course attendees will also receive comprehensive course notes.
We provide tea, coffee, drinking water and cake.
You may like to bring an apron (please don't buy one, we do have spares)
