Upcoming Start Dates
You will make 2 batches of macarons, 1 chocolate and 1 your choice (in the picture they are Raspberry & white chocolate)
You will temper chocolate to drizzle on the top and you can add freeze dried fruit pieces, honeycomb pieces etc
You will make ganache (your choice of white, milk or dark) which you will then whip to create a filling.
I will demonstrate how to make Swiss meringue buttercream which you can then flavour (white chocolate, lemon etc)
You will be able to use jams, curd and salted caramel sauce as additional fillings.
You will pipe a range of styles for the fillings.
Go home with 16 macarons (8 of each flavour)

Annabelle established Confection Perfection (now re-branded as Annabelle Jane Cake School) in 1996 from her kitchen table; bought her first retail premises in 2000 and is now settled in a delightful setting in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone. Annabelle has extensive cake decorating experience and is highly creative and artistic. Annabelle is an accredited tutor for the PME Diplomas in Sugar craft and also designs and delivers a wide range of other highly successful cake baking and decorating classes. Annabelle has a huge vision for our Cake School and ensures that the strong reputation we have earned continues to grow lead by her consistently high standards.
The course price includes everything you need to make your macarons including a box to take them home. We will provide all of the materials, all equipment and refreshments. Course attendees will also receive a full set of course notes and a discount sheet which gives exclusive discounts on the items used during the course purchased in the cake decorating supplies shop on the day of your course.
You may like to bring an apron (please don't buy one - we have spares!)
We provide tea/ coffee/ drinking water and cake. You may like to bring a packed lunch or there is a local deli in walking distance.

Incredible course with lots of information not just about the macaron shell, includes ganache, tempering & flavours, smb... full of information to be applied to other things. Tutor amazing - talked through all the different steps at the right pace.

I was so excited for this course. I learnt loads, lovely friendly atmosphere. Tutor was amazing as always, doesn't mind if you interrupt to ask questions. This is an amazing course. You learn loads and get to make 2 different flavours. Annabelle is very encouraging if they don't turn out as you hoped.
