Starting at the very beginning we will teach you the basics of creating beautiful unwired sugar flowers.
From how to use flower paste, colouring and shaping techniques to the professional hints, tips and insider secrets you don’t learn in a book we will show you step by step how to create blossoms, daisies, gerberas, realistic rose petals and frilled flowers perfect for cupcakes, celebration cakes and even weddings.

Annabelle established Confection Perfection (now re-branded as Annabelle Jane Cake School) in 1996 from her kitchen table; bought her first retail premises in 2000 and is now settled in a delightful setting in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone. Annabelle has extensive cake decorating experience and is highly creative and artistic. Annabelle is an accredited tutor for the PME Diplomas in Sugar craft and also designs and delivers a wide range of other highly successful cake baking and decorating classes. Annabelle has a huge vision for our Cake School and ensures that the strong reputation we have earned continues to grow lead by her consistently high standards.
We provide the flower paste, colours, and all the equipment you need. Just bring your enthusiasm and an apron, we look after the rest.
The course price includes everything you need to create the flowers and leaves and a box to take them home. We will provide all materials, all sugarcraft tools, equipment and refreshments. Course attendees will also receive comprehensive course notes and 10% discount on items purchased in the cake decorating supplies shop on the day of your course.

Any level, beginners and upwards

Age 11+ (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult partaking in the course)
- What are the course times?
This is a 2 hour course.
- What do I need to bring?
You need to bring an apron (or we have disposable aprons 50p each) and your enthusiasm.
