Individual cakes are the grown up cousin of cupcakes, like a real cake, but smaller. They make beautiful gifts for parties and weddings, or even an unusual alternative to a full wedding cake.
The ultimate in cake fashion we have designed a vintage teacup.
We’ll bake you a mini Madeira cake and you’ll learn seamless covering, using sugar paste. Then you can let your creativity out, finishing your perfect little cakes with stunning painted designs experimenting with colour, shimmers and decorative techniques.
This course is perfect if you want to learn how to translate the skills of decorating a regular cake into miniature; from cute to ultra-chic – anything is possible and we’ve made and decorated thousands of these little cakes so know all the secrets to creating a perfect finish, every time.

Annabelle
Director
Annabelle established Confection Perfection (now re-branded as Annabelle Jane Cake School) in 1996 from her kitchen table; bought her first retail premises in 2000 and is now settled in a delightful setting in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone. Annabelle has extensive cake decorating experience and is highly creative and artistic. Annabelle is an accredited tutor for the PME Diplomas in Sugar craft and also designs and delivers a wide range of other highly successful cake baking and decorating classes. Annabelle has a huge vision for our Cake School and ensures that the strong reputation we have earned continues to grow lead by her consistently high standards.
We provide the cake, fillings, icing, colours, and all the equipment you need.
The course price includes everything you need to decorate your cake and a box to take them home. We will provide all the ingredients, materials, all sugarcraft tools, equipment and refreshments. Course attendees will also receive a full set of course notes and a discount sheet which gives exclusive discounts on the items used during the course purchased in the cake decorating supplies shop on the day.
