This course has been designed with the practicalities of your Christmas preparations in mind. The design is based on a mix of fruit and sponge cakes - to cater for all tastes. The course finishes at 3.30pm so you still have time left in your day. The board is big enough if you want to add additional cupcakes. The fruit cupcakes will last beyond Christmas (well into the New Year), and you can freeze the sponge ones (we will tell you how).
You will ice a cake drum board with sugarpaste and create an inlay. Moving on use moulds, cutters, painting on sugar, different types of icing, basic modelling, cupcake toppers, piping and so much more. You will take home not only a beautifully decorated cupcake platter but so much knowledge and newfound skills to transform your cake projects.

Annabelle established Confection Perfection (now re-branded as Annabelle Jane Cake School) in 1996 from her kitchen table; bought her first retail premises in 2000 and is now settled in a delightful setting in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone. Annabelle has extensive cake decorating experience and is highly creative and artistic. Annabelle is an accredited tutor for the PME Diplomas in Sugar craft and also designs and delivers a wide range of other highly successful cake baking and decorating classes. Annabelle has a huge vision for our Cake School and ensures that the strong reputation we have earned continues to grow lead by her consistently high standards.
The course price includes everything you need to decorate your cupcake platter including a box to take it home. We will provide a 8 cupcakes (4 fruit, 4 sponge), 4 frut cake domes, frosting, icings, all of the materials, all sugarcraft tools and equipment. Course attendees will also receive a full set of course notes.
We provide tea, coffee, drinking water and cake.
You may like to bring an apron (please don't buy one - we have spares!)
