Frills are so fashionable at the moment, add ombre shading and you are bang on trend! In this half day course we will show you step by step how to create this ombre shaded frill and ruffle cake. Starting with what paste to use, how achieve the ombre colours, the best frill technique and how to assemble your frills onto your cake. You will also learn how to make a frilled bow.
We will ice 2 dummy cakes for you to practice on so you can dedicate the entire course to perfecting your frill technique.

Annabelle established Confection Perfection (now re-branded as Annabelle Jane Cake School) in 1996 from her kitchen table; bought her first retail premises in 2000 and is now settled in a delightful setting in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone. Annabelle has extensive cake decorating experience and is highly creative and artistic. Annabelle is an accredited tutor for the PME Diplomas in Sugar craft and also designs and delivers a wide range of other highly successful cake baking and decorating classes. Annabelle has a huge vision for our Cake School and ensures that the strong reputation we have earned continues to grow lead by her consistently high standards.

Any level, beginners and upwards. This is a perfect course for absolute beginners and those wanting to increase your repertoire.
- Are there any age restrictions?
Age 14+ (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult partaking in the course)
