A really fun course packed with an amazing array of skills! You will make meringues, meringue lollipops, split, fill & crumb coat a cake, create (if liked) a surprise inside so when the cake is cut sweets tumble out, you will colour buttercream (your choice of colour) and use this to coat your cake, temper white chocolate to create ghosts and finish your cake with mini stars and sprinkles.

- make chocolate ghosts
- split and fill a Madeira cake
- create a surprise inside so when the cake is cut sweets tumble out (you will need to provide your choice of sweets)
- colour buttercream (using colour mill oil based colour. You can choose your preferred pastel shade)
- use ganache plates
- achieve a beautiful smooth buttercream finish on your cake
- how to make mini stars
You will then assemble your cake.

Annabelle established Confection Perfection (now re-branded as Annabelle Jane Cake School) in 1996 from her kitchen table; bought her first retail premises in 2000 and is now settled in a delightful setting in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone. Annabelle has extensive cake decorating experience and is highly creative and artistic. Annabelle is an accredited tutor for the PME Diplomas in Sugar craft and also designs and delivers a wide range of other highly successful cake baking and decorating classes. Annabelle has a huge vision for our Cake School and ensures that the strong reputation we have earned continues to grow lead by her consistently high standards.
The course price includes everything you need to create the cake and meringues. If you would like to include sweets in the centre you will need to bring these with you.
We will provide all the materials, all sugarcraft tools, equipment and boxes to take your cake and meringues home. We will provide refreshments but you will need to bring a packed lunch.
Course attendees will also receive a full set of course notes and a 10% discount on items purchased in the cake decorating supplies shop on the day of your course.
